Hand thrown ceramic white and green salad bowl

Beautifully crafted larger bowl, thrown by hand.  High quality contemporary look but with a traditional earthy feel. Perfect for salads and grilled vegetables, this slightly flatter bowl is very aesthetically pleasing to present food in. Made from Valentines clay which is manufactured in Stoke on Trent, England. The clay has some grog in it which adds strength and a lovely textured finish. The main glaze is a tin white glaze, which is traditional for cookware and has an appealing white matt finish. The white is then speckled with copper green splatters to create a stunning individual piece.

These exquisite bowls have been designed specifically for outdoor use but work well any time of year in or out. The ceramic bowl is hand thrown with outdoor dining in mind, with more weight in the base to be sturdy and well balanced, whilst maintaining an open and elegant profile. The heavier base design helps to avoid the bowl being knocked or spilled over. We love the matt white glaze with the green speckles.
