The chapa grill or gridle is a heavy duty 6mm thick black iron grill grid with three detachable legs. The grate can be used for cooking on an open fire or charcoal embers. Made from durable pure iron with sturdy brass rivets and wingnuts. This is a very versatile free standing barbecue griddle that can be used at high temperatures. Detach the legs for compact storage.
The lid or cloche is a versatile spun iron cooking bell. This barbecue cloche helps to retain heat when used over a grill or griddle. The iron BBQ lid is very heavy duty and will effectively turn the open chapa grill in to a lid down style cooking set up outdoors.
The fire table protects the ground or grass from direct contact with fire. The barbecue base works with the iron barbecue grill to raise the chapa griddle 9cm from the ground. This portable BBQ fire table has three removable legs, each attached with two solid brass wingnuts
This chapa griddle, base and lid are all pre seasoned with Sussex flax oil making them naturally non stick. No chemicals or PTFE are used in the coating of the plate.
